What are we supposed to make exactly ?

This is my first Hackathon and I don't know if there is a theme associated with our project or not. Can we use any programing language we want? What type of documentation is required? Can the project be a simple desktop app?

  You can use whatever you want and make whatever you want! Please just upload a < 2-minute video demo at the end along with your source code (in a GitHub repository would be preferable).
